Kim Kardashian files for Kimono trademark, let’s check it out

Kim Kardashian’s filed a trademark for Kimono. While the Internet yells cultural appropriation, it’s uncertain whether her applications will be approved in the first place. #KimOhNo

On the chance that her applications are approved, Kim K wants you to know that it doesn’t mean that other people can’t use the word at all. It means that businesses can’t use the word to identify their lingerie brand. This is true however from I can see, the Japanese culture doesn’t want their traditional garment associated with Kim or her lingerie. I spilled the tea on Kim K’s trademark application including the challenges she faces in getting her applications approved.
